By Mrs Julia Falla, Principal, Greaves Adventist Academy

June 22nd was a day of celebration and gratitude, marking the end of years that the students spent together –working hard, laughing, joking, and growing as a close-knit, loving community. For the students, it is a bittersweet blend of excitement for the future and uncertainty about the unknown.

They now begin a new chapter in life, one that they alone will author with every choice they make. For us, it is our hope that they carry with them the lessons and values we have lovingly instilled. We hope they always remember the value of respect, serving others, staying disciplined, working hard, and placing their lives in the unfailing hands of God. We urge them to dream big and hold on to the truth that they never walk alone. We encourage them to always remember that the Mighty God is with them wherever they go, guiding their steps toward a bright future, if it is their wish.

“I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29.1).

We thank the parents who have always believed in them. Their love and support have made a difference. This graduation was not only the student’s achievement, but also a celebration of the dedication of the parents and guardians who raised them.

Greaves Adventist Academy, Sartigan Campus also had two graduates Grade 6. It was a joyful occasion for their families, teachers, and friends. Both students have been in the school since Grade 2, drawn to our school because of the values we uphold. Their parents have expressed heartfelt gratitude for the impact we have had on their children’s lives.

We praise the Lord for the gift of Christian education in both Montreal and St. George!
